I’ve gotten so used to staying in timeshares and enjoying the extra space, I was curious how it would feel staying in a hotel again. And not a hotel with a kitchen which I call timeshare lite. Just a regular hotel room.
I realized I had gotten spoiled. The similarities of the bedroom and the bathroom were nice. But not having a kitchen or a full living room (My room had a couch) were significant. The size of the refrigerator was a huge issue and surprisingly, the size of the trash cans in a hotel room make a huge difference. And not having a microwave meant that the really only options was to eat at a resturaunt. There were amenities like hot tubs that I had taken for granted. Again, I will survive, but it was nice to see what made a timeshare a more enjoyable experience.
