Kihei is only a 25 minute drive from the airport and is a wonderful beach town. It is relatively quiet, but with plenty of nice shops and places to eat. I stayed at the WorldMark Kihei for a little over a week and enjoyed my time at the pool and enjoying sunsets.
I like the studio units… Get Building 5 if you can as that gives you views of the ocean if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor. I have enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset every night.
