Since I live Full time in Timeshares, I should probably let you know that my real goal is to treat my timeshares like a second home. I eventually plan to have a small main home and a way to a rented second home to go to.
So, in today’s blog I have positioned my purchase of my timeshare as an alternative to a traditional second home. I like the flexibility to have multiple choices and I recognize I am paying for someone to maintain my shared 2nd home. I’ve spoken to people that own second homes and the cost to maintain those homes is often equal to or greater than the cost of owning a timeshare. They do have the advantage of appreciation but they have the extra maintenance.
