In many ways I treat my Timeshare like an RV. I live full time in timeshares. I stay in a single location for multiple weeks. Or I travel around the world in Timeshares. Not a lot different than owning a RV (except traveling the world).
Before I bought my timeshare, I thought about buying an RV. I watched many videos of full time RV people and they seemed happy. It was only when I realized I wanted to spend more time in Hawaii, that the timeshare became my choice. But I have some regrets and thoughts about the RV life that I had to give up.
