I was in Las Vegas in December of 2024 and decided to do an owner update. I was hoping to learn more about the integration of Bluegreen. Although there was not much official information about Bluegreen integration, it was made clear that the integration details are scheduled for 1st quarter 2025.
After declining the offer to purchase an upgrade, I was offer a VIP. I decided to buy a VIP because it was enough points to book a two bedroom at Kingsland for a week and the cost was less than the maintenance fees would be. My worst case is that I would just use it as a vacation. But if I decided to upgrade and balance my portfolio for more access to Bluegreen or Diamon resorts, I would still keep the point, but I would also receive a credit for twice what i paid (an effective discount).
