One of the amazing opportunities you have as a timeshare owner is that you can donate your timeshare vacations to non profits or charity. Just in case you have points expiring or you just want to donate to a charity.
In this video, I’ll discuss the process of how I have donated to non profits / charities using my points. The process is simple. I book the reservation six months in advance. Provide the details to the non profit and they do the silent auction / charity event. When it is over, I get the name of the winner and I change the reservation and put it in their name.
This has been a fabulous opportunity for me. I have turned $1500 in maintenance fees into $7000 in donations. This year I am using it to jumpstart a endowment for a non-profit.
