Timeshare Traveler Episode 174… Is Timeshare Industry Consolidation Good?

With the recent announcement by Hilton to purchase Bluegreen, the timeshare industry consolidation continues to grow. In the last five years we have seen Hilton buy two timeshare companies, Marriott by one and Club Wyndham buy a travel company. In this video, I will recap the recent purchases and describe the “good, bad, and the ugly” of the consolidations.

As an owner in all three of the major players, I am able to understand the changes and the impacts that they have on owners. I am not a shareholder in any of the companies, so I speak completely as a customer. And I have beed through all of the mergers in the last five years. I do believe that industry consolidation will continue because it is easier to buy real estate than to build new with the complex government regulations.
