Timeshare Traveler Episode 103…What to do with 600K Hilton Honors Points

As a timeshare owner, I have relationships with the hotel companies that are related to those timeshares. As a result, I (and most timeshare owners) end up with hotel points. So, the question arrises about what can we do with those additional hotel points.

In my case, I prefer to use these points as additional stays for free. I like staying at hotels that have kitchens. In the case of Hilton that means staying at Homewood Suites and also Home2suites. In that way, I have the option to cook in my room to lower costs of a vacation. It doesn’t mean I don’t go out to dinner… It just means that I don’t have to do that. It also opens up the chance to drive to locations which can reduce travel costs (airline tickets or rental cars).
