I qualify as a glutton for punishment. Two owner updates in one week from two different timeshare companies both of which are in the process of a merger. It just so happens that both of the places I got my updates were from the companies being acquired (Vistana location and Diamond International location).
The Marriott merger has taken almost five years and continues to move along at what seems like a slow pace. The Marriott team was less prepared and had less information to share. The Hilton team was prepared. They knew how I would fold into the new program and they could even demo the new site.
