Hilton Grand Vacations closed the sale on August 2nd, 2021 for the purchase of Diamond International. There are now now 154 properties under Hilton grand Vacations management. In their letter to owners, Hilton said they are committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless transition to a combined business. Integrating Hilton Grand Vacations and Diamond Resorts is a multi-year, phased approach.
As a HGVC owner I am excited about the new locations. In the video, I have US maps of the different locations of Diamond International and Hilton Grand Vacations so you can see how the options increased. I break out Hawaii as an example. In Hawaii, Diamond International Resorts has a resort on Maui and Kauai giving Hilton Grand Vacations a presence on all major Hawaiian islands. I also reached out to other timeshare experts at TUG (Timeshare User Group to get their opinions on what they thought about the merger and if it would be a good idea to attend a sales presentation now. I wanted to share the wisdom that I found from TUG with others so enjoy the video.
