The Kona Coast Resort is a large complex of buildings situated along a golf course in close proximity of the ocean. It is a great place to view sunsets, swim in the pools, relax at the small bar / restaurant, or explore the island of Hawaii. The resort is about 5 and a half miles south of Kona.
The one bedroom is a lovely place to stay. There are two bathrooms and a large deck to sit on an enjoy the morning sounds. I chose not to have air conditioning and that was a good choice for me. If I had had air conditioning, I would have missed the morning birds singing outside my balcony. It never felt that hot and every afternoon, the clouds would for overhead to keep things relatively cool.
I used Worldmark points to book this timeshare even though it is part of Club Wyndham. I originally was going to stay at the Worldmark Kona, but it is closed for upgrades. But the Kona Coast resort was wonderful and I am glad I stayed here. Enjoy the review.
