This week the Beach Bum was in San Diego. While I could have enjoyed going to the world renowned San Diego Zoo or The San Diego Aquarium, I decided on a few lessor known places. I decide to go to Old Town and the Museums near Balboa park. I went to the Air and Space museum because I love it and I think everyone should go (I am a Spacex fan too)…. But I could have gone to the Automotive history museum, several art museums, several gardens, etc… All within walking distance. I am going to spend a week in San Diego at another time and just go to the museums. Maybe not as good as Washington DC, but definitely a good choice.
